How to pre-load and install
Pre-loading lets you download the bulk of the game before launch so you can play on launch day. Confirmed status by platform:
- Xbox: pre-load open since August 25, 2026 — roughly 81 GB
- PC (Steam / Epic): pre-load open since August 25, 2026 — roughly 103 GB
- PS5: pre-load timing not yet announced; install size estimated at 90–110 GB

Steam Deck and cloud
Remedy confirmed full Steam Deck support at launch via the official FAQ, so the PC version runs on Valve’s handheld. GeForce Now streams the game from Nvidia’s cloud, so you can play on low-power devices instead of a gaming PC.
