CONTROL Resonant launches on September 24, 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The Mac version arrives later in 2026 via Steam and the App Store.

The PlayStation 5 Digital Deluxe Edition grants 48 hours of advance access, letting you play beginning September 22, 2026. This is PS5-exclusive; the early access does not apply to PC or Xbox versions.
Will it come to Nintendo Switch?
No confirmed version exists for Nintendo Switch 2. In a June 2026 interview, director Mikael Kasurinen said Remedy does not rule out a Switch 2 port, but none has been announced. Do not expect it at launch.
How much storage does the game need?

- Xbox Series X: ~81.4 GB (per the official pre-load notice)

Does it support Steam Deck?
Remedy confirmed full Steam Deck support at launch via an official FAQ (June 2026). Expect it verified or playable; Remedy has not detailed graphical presets on Deck yet.
Physical vs. digital release dates
As above, digital releases September 24 and physical October 15 for PS5/Xbox. Remedy delayed the physical editions by three weeks (originally announced to sync with digital) to ensure a more complete disc with day-one updates preloaded. PC, Mac, and GeForce Now are digital-only.
